Nous sommes mercredi (ou presque) et c’est le temps de participer aux Mercredis Gourmands de chez Anne-Laure T. , Sysy et Sophie .
Cette semaine , je veux absolument vous parler d’une expérience , plus ou moins culinaire, que je réalise en ce moment même chez moi…. Tout à commencée sur Internet, lors d’un interminable très court séjour devant mon Facebook, j’ai vue qu’il était possible de faire repousser certains légumes dont le céleri et la laitue (entre autres).
Selon mes sources, il suffisait de mettre la base du céleri dans un bol d’eau et après quelques jours on pouvait voir les repousses…. Bref, si vous me suivez depuis un certain temps, vous savez que je suis nulle côté jardinage: mon pouce vert est plutôt bleu et rien, ne pousse chez moi….Non, même pas les cactus (voir ici).
Ayant la base d’un céleri sous la main, j’ai décidée de tenter le tout pour le tout et de mettre la chose dans un bol avec de l’eau. Quelle ne fût pas ma surprise en voyant que le lendemain il se passait quelques choses au milieu de mon céleri…. On ne voyait pas grand chose mais il y avait de l’action en plein milieu… la couleur était définitivement différente…
Quelques jours plus tard: une nouvelle pousse était bien visible !! Mon enthousiasme et celui des garçons était palpable tout autour de notre « bébé céleri » ! L’Homme, lui, en bon scientifique cartésien, restait de glace. À chaque matin, les garçons et moi étions fébriles à l’idée de parler à notre bébé vert ! Après quelques jours, nous avons décidés qu’il était temps de donner un petit frère ou une petite soeur à notre céleri ! Une autre base fût mise à l’eau ! Et tiens donc, on a également essaye la même chose avec une laitue.
Au bout de 2 semaines , Antoni (9 ans) déclara solennellement: « Mama, nous avons crées la vie ! C’est officiel ! ».
Et là, j’ai dit: « J’ai très hâte à goûter à notre salade maison cet été ! Ça sera délicieux ! «
Antoni avec un regard horrifié: « Mais on ne peut pas les manger !! On les aime trop !!! Ça va faire de nous des cannibales !! »
Je ne sais pas comment va finir cette expérience mais je vous mets les photos de nos « bébés » verts :-). Il y en a plusieurs, mais comme tout parent, je suis très fière 😉 !

En pousses et en pots on s’y attache, alors comment pouvoir déjà les enterrer ?
Oui j’ai vu ça qu’on pouvait faire repousser des légumes avec cette technique. C’est trop drôle ! mais je n’ai jamais essayé…Je croyais que ce n’était pas obligatoire de les planter ensuite en pleine terre…qu’il fallait juste couper les pousses de temps en temps pour les manger.
Mais si tu me dis qu’on devient des cannibales herbivores je vais y réfléchir à deux fois avant de tenter l’expérience !!
Lol je vais voir combien de temps je peux les garder sans les mettre dans la terre … On s’attache à ces petites pousses 😉
